Lineage & Timeline

Satya Yuga

~2.16 million years

The first and most virtuous age where dharma stood on all four legs. Many Rishis including Vashishtha and Vishwamitra lived during this time.

Treta Yuga

~1.296 million years

The second age where dharma lost one leg. Rishis like Agastya and Bharadwaja were prominent during this period.

Dwapara Yuga

~864,000 years

The third age where dharma stood on two legs. Parāśara and later his son Vyasa lived during this time.

Kali Yuga

Current era

The current age where dharma stands on only one leg. We study and preserve the wisdom of the Rishis from previous yugas.
